Princess Cruises passengers will soon pay more for Plus, Premier and standalone WiFi, with a number of pricing changes taking effect this October.

And depending on your ship, cruise length and how many devices you want to connect, the difference can quickly add up.
Princess Plus and Premier Are Going Up By $5 Per Day
Princess Cruises is raising the price of both its Plus and Premier packages by $5 per person, per day, with the new rates applying to voyages departing on or after October 13, 2026.
For most Princess ships, Princess Plus will increase from $65 to $70 per person, per day when purchased before the cruise. Guests who wait until they’re onboard will pay $75 per day, up from $70.
Princess Premier is also getting a $5 increase. The pre-cruise price will move from $100 to $105 per person, per day, while the onboard price will rise from $105 to $110.
That might not sound like a huge jump on its own, but it adds up on a longer sailing. On a 14-night cruise, for example, the increase works out to an additional $70 per person, or $140 for a couple purchasing packages for the entire trip.
The change comes a little over a year after Princess last adjusted these packages. In July 2025, the cruise line increased Plus from $60 to $65 per day and Premier from $90 to $100 while also adding several new benefits.
Sun Princess and Star Princess Will Cost Even More
Passengers sailing on Sun Princess or Star Princess will see slightly higher prices than guests on the rest of the Princess fleet.

The two Sphere Class ships already have different pricing for Plus and Premier. Currently, Princess Plus costs $70 per person, per day when purchased before sailing, while Princess Premier costs $105. That’s $5 higher than the standard pre-cruise prices across the rest of the fleet.
For voyages departing on or after October 13, Plus will increase to $75 per day when purchased before the cruise and $80 onboard. Premier will rise to $110 pre-cruise and $115 onboard.
That keeps the same $5 difference between the Sphere Class ships and the rest of the fleet.
The Packages Aren’t Losing Their Current Benefits
For now, the higher prices don’t appear to come with another major reshuffle of what’s included in Princess Plus and Premier.
Princess Plus currently includes the Plus Beverage Package, MedallionNet Max WiFi for one device per guest, four casual dining meals per voyage, crew appreciation, OceanNow delivery and room service delivery.

Princess Premier includes the Premier Beverage Package, WiFi for four devices per guest, unlimited casual and specialty dining, crew appreciation, a shore excursion credit of up to $300 depending on the length of the cruise, unlimited digital professional photos with three prints, and reserved seating for theater shows.
That’s worth noting because Princess made much bigger changes to the packages in 2025, when it added benefits including more casual dining with Plus and shore excursion credits with Premier.
This time, the main change is the price. For passengers who already use many of the included benefits, the calculation will largely be the same as before — it’ll just cost another $5 per person, per day.
Princess Is Also Changing Its WiFi Plans
The Plus and Premier increases aren’t the only changes coming. Princess is also restructuring its standalone WiFi plans, which could have a bigger impact on passengers who don’t purchase either package.
The current standalone four-device plan is being discontinued. Princess will instead offer one-device and two-device options, while four-device WiFi will remain available as part of Princess Premier.
The new two-device plan will cost $39.99 per day when purchased before the cruise. Buying it onboard for the entire voyage will cost $47.99 per day, while a single day of access onboard will cost $55.99.
The one-device option is going up too. It currently starts at $24.99 per day when purchased before the cruise, but the new pre-cruise price will be $27.99 per day — an increase of $3 per day.
That means a passenger buying WiFi for a seven-night cruise will pay $21 more than they do under the current pricing.
Guests who wait until they’re onboard will pay $33.99 per day for one-device WiFi when purchasing it for the full voyage, or $39.99 if they only want access for a single day.
Perhaps the bigger change is for passengers who travel with several devices. Once the standalone four-device plan disappears, the most they’ll be able to connect with a standalone package is two devices. Four-device WiFi will still be included with Princess Premier.
What Princess Says About the Increase
Princess says it periodically reviews its packages as costs and operating conditions change.
In a letter to travel advisors, Carmen Roig, Princess Cruises’ Senior Vice President of North America Sales and Trade Marketing, said, “We periodically review our offerings to ensure they continue to provide meaningful benefits while reflecting changes in our operating environment.”
She added, “We believe both packages offer strong value.”

This isn’t the first time Princess has raised the price of Plus and Premier. In July 2025, Plus increased from $60 to $65 per person, per day, while Premier jumped from $90 to $100. That increase was accompanied by new benefits, including more casual dining with Plus and shore excursion credits with Premier.
This time around, Princess hasn’t announced comparable new benefits alongside the additional $5 per day. The packages themselves remain largely the same, but passengers will be paying more for them.
What This Means If You Have a Princess Cruise Booked
The key date to know is October 13, 2026. The new Plus, Premier and WiFi pricing will apply to voyages departing on or after that date.
If you’ve already purchased Plus or Premier for a cruise departing after October 13, you shouldn’t need to pay the difference. Princess has been encouraging booked guests to purchase packages ahead of the change to lock in the current lower rates.
If you’re sailing after the change and were already planning to buy Plus or Premier, the increase is fairly easy to calculate: you’ll pay an extra $5 per person for every day of your cruise.
For a couple on a seven-night sailing, that’s an additional $70. On a 14-night cruise, the difference grows to $140.
Passengers who prefer to buy WiFi separately have a little more to consider. The one-device plan is increasing in price, while anyone who needs to connect more than two devices will no longer be able to buy a standalone four-device plan.
It’s also worth checking the price shown in your Princess account before making any changes to an existing booking. Package pricing can depend on the ship, sailing date and whether you purchase before the cruise or once you’re onboard.

I have a cruise with the Premier package booked and paid for in January 2027. Does this price increase apply to me?
Hi Brian, great question! Since you already paid for the package before the price increase is taking effect, Princess will honor that price and you will not be charged the difference. I am updating this article to include that information because that can definitely be confusing.
