Carnival Cruise Line has shaken things up with a surprise announcement: one of its November 2025 cruises will now be adult-only. Affected passengers recently received a notice stating that the 7-night Eastern Caribbean sailing aboard Carnival Magic, departing 1 November 2025, has been reclassified as an exclusive event for guests aged 21 and up.

The cruise will now be part of a special Casino Event cruise through Carnival’s Players Club, aimed at delivering unique experiences for casino-loving guests.

According to the official statement, “We have made an operational change for this voyage, designating it as a special Casino Event cruise, dedicated to offering our playing enthusiasts thrilling and unique experiences.” With a maximum capacity of 4,724 guests and 3,690 at double occupancy, this particular sailing is no small test.

What’s Behind the Change?

According to Carnival, this particular voyage has been reclassified as a special Casino Event cruise through the line’s Players Club. Only invited guests can book, and all passengers must be 21 or older.

Behind the scenes, the shift may be due to a delay in the ship’s scheduled dry dock. Originally slated for maintenance in autumn 2025, Carnival Magic will now head to dry dock in spring 2026. Rather than let the ship sit idle, Carnival handed the itinerary over to the casino team, and they ran with it.
