Norwegian Cruise Line has announced the cancellation of 38 cruises across three of its ships, impacting itineraries scheduled between November 2025 and April 2026. This decision affects the Norwegian Jewel, Norwegian Star, and Norwegian Dawn, disrupting travel plans for numerous passengers.

The Norwegian Jewel’s itineraries from Tampa to the Caribbean and the Bahamas, scheduled between 23 November 2025 and 5 April 2026, are all cancelled. This includes 16 cruises ranging from five to 14 nights.
The Norwegian Star’s entire season in South America and Antarctica, planned between 20 November 2025 and 14 April 2026, is also affected, marking the loss of 11 cruises. Similarly, the Norwegian Dawn’s cruises around Africa and Asia, scheduled from 2 November 2025 to 12 April 2026, have been cancelled, impacting 11 planned voyages.
In addition to these, Norwegian Cruise Line has cancelled a 14-night South Pacific cruise on the Norwegian Sun, originally scheduled for 7 August 2025. Furthermore, two cruises on the Norwegian Getaway in August 2026 have been cancelled due to a ship charter.
Passengers affected by these cancellations are offered refund policies and rebooking options. Norwegian Cruise Line is expected to provide robust customer service to address the concerns and needs of its passengers during this period of disruption.
These cancellations have broader implications for the cruise industry, potentially affecting market dynamics and competitive strategies. Norwegian Cruise Line may need to adjust its strategic plans to maintain its market position and ensure future growth.
