If you’ve ever wanted to see the world through a captain’s eyes, you don’t need to step foot on board to do it. Some cruise lines still stream live webcam feeds from their ships, giving you the same bow-facing view the officers see from the bridge.

It’s a brilliant way to check in on your favourite ship, see where it’s sailing, or just enjoy a slice of cruise life from your sofa.

And if your favourite line doesn’t offer them anymore, you’re not out of luck. Plenty of independent YouTube channels and port cameras broadcast ships arriving and departing live around the world.

YouTube Channels to Watch Cruise Ships Live

It’s not just cruise lines that run webcams – plenty of independent channels stream live footage of ports and harbours, giving you a front-row seat to watch ships arrive and depart. These can be a great alternative if your favourite cruise line doesn’t have a working camera feed.

Princess Cruises Webcams

Princess is a cruise line that still offers a solid range of working webcams. If you’ve sailed with Princess before, you might even recognise the view – these are the same feeds you’ll find on the in-cabin TV channels, often checked by passengers first thing in the morning to see the weather before heading out on deck.

Here are the ships you can watch live right now:

Norwegian Cruise Line Webcams

Norwegian Cruise Line has one of the biggest selections of live ship cameras still available today. Most of the feeds are positioned on the bow, giving you the same front-row view the captain gets as the ship sails into port or across open seas.

Cruise Lines Without Active Webcams

Sadly, not every cruise line still lets you peek at life on board. Many turned their webcams off during the 2020 shutdown and never switched them back on. Here’s the current situation:

  • Carnival Cruise Line – Live cameras were removed in early 2020 and haven’t returned.
  • Costa Cruises – Took their webcam pages down recently without explanation.
  • Cunard – Also stopped showing their feeds and haven’t brought them back.
  • Disney Cruise Line – Never had public ship webcams, but you can spot Disney ships on port cameras at places like Port Canaveral, Miami, and Galveston.
  • MSC Cruises – Switched off webcams back in 2019. Some sites still show static images, but these aren’t live.
  • P&O Cruises – Paused webcams in 2020 and never reintroduced them. If they return, they’ll be found here.
  • Royal Caribbean – Also stopped offering public webcams in 2020 and redirected pages back to their main site.
