Cruises are all about relaxation and adventure, but for one mother and her toddler, it turned into a race against time. This scene unfolded in Honduras aboard the Carnival Jubilee, a 6,000-passenger mega-ship. The stakes? Making it back to the ship before it left the port—and the clock was already ticking.
As captured in this video, the mother can be seen making a desperate dash toward the gangway. However, her little girl, with tiny legs pumping as fast as they could, struggled to keep up. Nervous passengers watched from their balconies, shouting words of encouragement: “Get the baby! Get the baby!”
One of those onlookers was Tinesia Ross, who filmed the scene from her balcony. “They told us to be back on board by 4:30, and when I started recording, it was already 4:32. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing,” she shared. “It was shocking to see the little girl running like that—she really put it into third gear!”

Spoiler alert: both mother and daughter made it onboard just in time. The moment, though tense, left everyone breathing a sigh of relief—and with a story they wouldn’t forget.
